Liz Kenny Fairleigh Dickinson University

Elizabeth Kenny-Foggin has been working in the field of special education with children, teenagers and adults for more than 25 years, focusing on Structured Language Literacy. Elizabeth works with undergraduate and graduate students as an adjunct faculty member at Fairleigh Dickinson University, teaching relevant topics in special education, including the Science of Reading. In 2014, Elizabeth received the IMSLEC Innovator Award-Outstanding MSLE Teacher from the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council. In addition, Elizabeth is a successful teacher-author, offering multisensory resources through the Teachers Pay Teachers website. Elizabeth has a Master of Science in Special Education; a Master in Administration & Supervision; is a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist (CERI); and is certified, through IMSLEC, as an Orton-Gillingham Teacher, Teacher Trainer, and Dyslexia Therapist. In June 2022, Elizabeth participated as a guest presenter with the Sunny Days International Training Team, presenting in Chile. Currently, Elizabeth is in the process of writing her dissertation, focused on the Science of Reading, for an Ed.D in Higher Education.
