Today, the National Council on Teacher Quality (NCTQ), a nonpartisan research and advocacy group, released a report that provides the most comprehensive review to date of how schools of education are preparing teachers to use data generated by assessments of student learning. This report is an in-depth follow-up to a brief issued in March and provides a more complete portrait of what programs are doing to ready teachers in this crucial area of preparation.
