about how the proposed CAEP standard requiring programs to ensure new cohorts average in the top third of those passing a nationally normed test, such as the SAT, may affect admissions to ed schools. Given how important ed schools are to universities' and colleges' bottom line
, we're wondering how they will adjust. Will this cause programs to actually admit fewer students (as Startz's model projects) or creatively recruit more selective candidates?
