Today, the National Council on Teacher Quality (NCTQ) releases its latest ratings for 717 undergraduate programs that prepare high school teachers, including four in Vermont. Vermont does not have any programs among NCTQ's 16 "Top Tier Secondary Teacher Prep Programs." The closest "Top Tier" programs are CUNY-Hunter College in New York, and Gordon College in Wenham, MA.
