Vote for the kids!

Here at NCTQ, we love to vote. Some of us voted in the weeks leading up to the election, some were at the polls early this morning and the rest of us will be casting our ballots before we head home tonight. We've debated, discussed, advocated and cajoled and, finally, the day has come.

We're eagerly awaiting the results of today's election for many reasons, not the least of which is the impact the outcome will have on education. While this may seem obvious today at the national level, it's just as important at the state and local level. Electing state representatives and school board members gives each of us an important voice in education policy.

Here's hoping today's voters take a minute to consider the impact of their choices up and down the ballot. The education policy of the next four years depends on it.
