Massachusetts Education Commissioner David Driscoll has caved in on his proposal to test Bay State mathematics teachers. In order to avoid having to put a “scarlet ‘F'” on math teachers who do not know math, Driscoll is instead backing alternate proposals including “a self-paced, online tool for teachers to improve their math knowledge.”
