When we're wrong, we're wrong. And we certainly were wrong last month about our unnecessarily gloomy interpretation of a new study out by ETS showing that aspiring teachers' performance on the SAT has risen substantially in the past several years. We got a basic fact wrong--SAT scores of future elementary teacher scores did go up. We apologize to ETS and to our readers for this inaccuracy and not making enough out of some good news.
